Wow, it seems like it took forever!! I was able to get a new computer after Christmas, and just recently got hooked back up with the internet. So get ready for lots of updated pics!!
Kaiden has been growing up SO fast! He's now able to sit up by himself, and has just begun to "crawl"(pulling himself across the floor). He's been recieving physical therapy for about a month now, which i think has helped him a whole lot! He loves standing at his stationary toy that has lots of buttons and music. Music is also one of his favorite things these days. Whenever he hears it, he starts moving and rocking..its so cute! Kaiden has started eating a tiny bit of finger food, especially the Gerber yogurt melts...they are pretty tasty and dissolve quickly. Anything other then those, he pretty much puts in his mouth and then gags on it, so we're working with him on trying different foods. He has just cut his first tooth this past week..one of his bottom teeth, and the second next to it is just about through also!! We have not had any trips to the hospital since his circ. and MRI on his spine, which came back that it was border line for tethered cord but that they did not feel it necessary to do surgery but wanted us to keep an eye for different symptoms. That was a VERY frustrating diagnosis if thats what you want to call it, but he seems to have been doing just fine, so we're keeping out fingers crossed!Our next visit at CHOP is in March, to have an ECHO and meet with his cardiologist...im a little nervous about that, but only because its been so long, but i do feel Kaiden has been doing very well!
We moved into a new apartment on Christmas Eve and we LOVE it! We have SO much more space, and Kaiden now has his own bedroom..which Mommy decorated in MONKEYS, OF COURSE! :) Ok well i'd like to try and post some pictures, but i know last time it wasnt working..so lets see!! Hope everyone is doing great!! - CANT WAIT FOR WARM WEATHER, BBRRRR!!!-
Yep, that's right...i think my computer is completly broken! It turns on but the screen just goes black. I havent been able to update anything but im actually on the computer at CHOP right now...so i thought i'd update everyone..unfortunetly without pictures though :(
Kaiden has been growing SO much! He just had a visit to the pediatrician for a shot, and weighed almost 18lbs!! He was definately my "chunky monkey" that i wanted him to be for Halloween.Kaiden looked so cute in his costume :) We recently got his "school pictures" back so ill have them on me for anyone that wants one if i see you...if you want one just email me and ill make sure to save one! They were adorable, we plan on doing greeting card pictures for christmas, so be sure to keep an eye out in the mail in the weeks to come! Kaiden has been doing an awesome job rolling over. We're still working with him on sitting up/crawling. he has actually qualified for physical therapy which will come out to the daycare to work with him. That should be starting up in the next few weeks. Kaiden LOVES to be the center of attention! He'll make grunting noises to get you to look at him, and then will smile :) So rotten! Kaiden loves playing peekaboo and making funny noises!... Anthony and I are FINALLY getting a good nights sleep!! Kaiden started sleeping through the night about 2 weeks ago...i thought it was never going to happen!! ha ha
Im sure you're probably wondering why we're up here at the hospital. Kaiden's FINALLY geting his MRI of his spine done, to rule out tethered cord, and also getting his circ. done. Hopefully we will be out of here by lunchtime and home to rest. We were here at 5am this morning!!
Anthony and I have been doing great. Anthony has joined a bowling league on wednesday nights. He has always enjoyed bowling and has been pretty good at it, so im glad he's able to enjoy it more. And Kaiden and I get to have a night to ourself :) We are very close to getting into a new apartment. About double the size that we're in now, brand new, and a room just fot kaiden! Im so excited!! We're waiting on an Ok from the apt. manager and get paperwork filled out, but it looks like its a GO. If so, the projected move in date would be Dec 15th. The perfect birthday present for me and will be nice to spend our first xmas all together in our "new home" :) So we're keeping out fingers crossed that everything works out!

ok for some reason Blogger is messing up, i cant make my text a certain color..cant add pictures, i dont know whats up. But i wanted to update everyone on Kaiden's last appointment at CHOP. We saw his cardiologist last week, when he had his ECHO done. When the Dr came into the room, right away she said he looks great! and that hes such a miracle.. she then asked how he was doing and so on. After talking for a few minutes, and informing us that his ECHO looked great she said he no longer needs the heart medicine that hes been taking basically since birth! I couldnt believe it, I almost cried!! She also told us he may not need another surgery(to make the valve bigger) until he's in his 20's or 30's...possibly earlier but who knows! And she doesnt need to see him for another 6 months! Wow...and i used to dread not seeing this dr but now im SO excited to see her and show our little miracle off! We're still waiting on his appointment for the circ and MRI on his back..its taking FOREVER! But im so happy with his appointment i wanted to share it with everyone...and hopefully i can post some pics up soon! Hope everyones doing great!
