Kaiden goes wireless! haha...4/16/09

That's right, Kaiden finally has no more wires/tubes!


His ECHO yesterday showed his heart was looking good, the one side is still very large but we were told it may take a year or two for that to go down to normal size. They were also watching a part of the heart that looked a little funny, but seems to be staying the same size and isnt concerning to them. After Kaiden had the ECHO which they had to sedate him for, they took him off of the oxygen and we stayed for about 3 hours so that they could monitor his oxygen level to make sure it was where it needed to be without the oxygen. His numbers were excellent so mister Kaiden got to come home without oxygen! He does have it at night, but only for about another month...it definately is a big help not to have to carry that oxygen tank everywhere!! I didnt think he could get any cuter but he looks so darn cute without the tube on his face. We also met with the nutritionist, who was very impressed with Kaiden's weight gain, she dropped his calories form 27 to 24...she also is hoping that this will be a little easier on his stomach and he wont be as gassy/fussy. We'll see! :)


Kaiden also had his first day at daycare today! I was told he did very well, basically slept the whole time! ha ha so we'll see how his night goes tonight! It was so nice to have him right down the hall from me and be able to check up on him throughout the day. He's a big boy now, going to school! :) Here are just a few pics since he's had the oxygen off...there will be plenty more to come eventually...we plan on going to Rehoboth this weekend since its supposed to be so nice & will definately take some pics!
